lack of commonsense

seriously. people really lack something called, "think before you talk." i thought i looked really nice this morning. i put on a black a-line skirt, crisp white blouse and a red vest on top. tucked the shirt in too.
i come to the office and this woman comes up to me and says that i "look nice," like a "philippine airline stewardess." there went my chipper mood.
she always finds a way to say something underhanded or catty to me and I don't know why. she doesn't talk to her cronies like that (ie. fred and engels), but it's as if she feels she has a right to talk to me however she chooses. i held my tongue when she said that stewardess comment. i was close to saying, "oh thanks, and you look nice too, like a fat buddha."
but i didn't. because unlike her, I think before I speak.

and even if i do look like a philippine airline stewardess, do you think it's a nice thing to point it out in front of everyone? how can you say something like that and think that hey, that's a nice thing to say to someone!

idiot. go to hell.

mind the gap.

so i found a new and better dentist. he explains everything to you and does all the admin work with the insurance company. my old dentist was a jackass. he used to make me calculate how much I pay and how much is covered under my dental plan and if I calculated it wrong (ie. $5 off) he would hound me for years till I paid it. what a useless tit that doctor and his secretary was.

anyway, so .... YES, new dentist, fabulous dentist.

I grind my teeth. Supposedly I do it all time. In my sleep, as I'm typing this (jesus, stop that!) and when i swallow i push my tongue forward against my front teeth. Hence, the enamel on my teeth is eroding away and a gap is forming between my two front teeth. NG, NG.

In 2 weeks I'm getting my teeth bonded! Yippee!! To get rid of the slight gap between my two front teeth and to prevent it from getting worse. I'm also getting a mouthguard to wear at night so I don't grind my teeth while I sleep. Plus it'll act as a retainer and hold my front teeth in place.

Very excited. Now Jason doesn't have to wake up to hearing my teeth grind in the middle of the night. YIPPEE!!!

new home

here i am. like a nomad i've tried moving my blog to other sites. livejournal.com was ok but they put horrible ads all over your blog. diarist.com was where my first ever blog was at, but they too are ad-crazy.

so this is my new home. totally new URL, new title as to make myself inconspicuous.

epics of misadventure and tall tales to come...

PLEASE: make yourself at home.
